MESSAGE OF SORROWFUL DEATH OF THE HIGHLY REGARDED, RENOWNED URDU LITTERATEUR WAHAB ASHRAFI PASSES AWAY

As Ibrahim surrendered to death, Muhammad 's hope which had consoled him for a brief while completely crumbled. With tears in his eyes he talked once more to the dead child: "O Ibrahim, were the truth not certain that the last of us will join the first, we would have mourned you even more than we do now." A moment later he said: "The eyes send their tears and the heart is saddened, but we do not say anything except that which pleases our Lord. Indeed, O Ibrahim, we are bereaved by your departure from us."

The occasion of the death of Ibrahim also coincided with an eclipse of the sun. A phenomenon the Muslims began to circulate by rumor as a miracle. The word went out saying that the sun was eclipsed in sadness over the death of Ibrahim. Upon hearing this Muhammad is reported as saying "The sun and the moon are signs of God. They are eclipsed neither for the death nor birth of any man. On beholding an eclipse, therefore, remember God and turn to Him in prayer."

I am highly shocked to know the Death of Gigantic persona of Urdu world Prof. Dr. Wahab Ashrafi passed away Sunday morning after a extend sickness at a hospital here. He was anguish with diverse diseases for last two years. He was 75. The news about his death broadens like bonfire and people from dissimilar walks of humanity came to his home to pay end tributes.

He was a distinguished career in fields as varied as different dimension academic. He was an eminent scholar and author of a number of books, which he has written on different facts of various schools and thoughts. All together, he had mastery over a lot of languages. He had associated with various religious, literal, cultural, social, educational, political, and learned organizations and founded lot of educational institutions of higher learning in Pakistan & abroad. He was an Ideal scholar around global community. He was worldwide fame and known as a human friendly personality. Remain this world he will possess exceptional intellect and repute in academia. He was well-known eminent and outstanding scholar and significantly contributed to knowledge through his enormous works.  His contribution will flowing till the end of this planet and will enrich the different form of so many language and literature and thus gaining international repute.

broke this news to me through TwoCircles.net and link  When I opened my face book today  on Dated 16^th July 2012, and I tried to contact his relatives especially to know about the same but failed because tey were too busy in their engagement and other work as soon as possible for Dua Fateha of their loved  Prof. Dr. Wahab Ashrafi, he  was a highly respectable person and got familiarity at national international level he did a lot of work for his family which will promote the humanity fraternity around the world for which his writings is the  key source as we all know all over the world. we are praying May God give peace to his pure soul at “JANNATUL FIRDAUS” and tolerance to his near and dear.

Prof. Ashrafi was misery with a variety of diseases for previous two years, but for last two months he was in serious position. After treatments at different hospitals in Patna, he was in use to Delhi. He was operated at a hospital in Gurgaon near Delhi and came care for to Patna. But his circumstance enhanced slight and in few days he was once more admitted to hospital in Patna. He breathed his last this morning at Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences.

His funeral prayers will be offered at 11 am Monday at the Jama Masjid in Haroon Nagar Sec. 11 in Phulwari Shareef. Then his body will be taken to his native place Kako in Jahanabad. According to his will, he will be buried after Zohar prayer at Bibi Kamal graveyard in Kako.Prof. Ashrafi wrote dozens of books on history of world literature. His death is a great loss to the world of Urdu literature

I am with my Family and all Urdu faculty, dept. of Urdu Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007, sorrowful with wet eye and ever ready to share his successors emotion and feelings at this moment we are here in this world for one another.

Wish his heir, family all the best for the noble cause that Prof. Dr. Wahab Ashrafi bring for national and international harmony for the sake of universal communities.

May the God bless and give to his heir, family courage to rise up from this sorrowful blow, to stand their self and go on with ideal and dynamic life and much more power to enrich the people of whole communities of the world like Prof. Dr. Wahab Ashrafi.
